Boston police investigating attempted sexual assault in North End
A woman told police a man approached her while she was walking in the area of Prince Street and North Square early Sunday morning.
A man attempted to sexually assault a woman walking in the North End on Sunday around 2 a.m., Boston police said. The woman told police she was walking in the area of Prince Street and North Square when a man approached her and attempted to sexually assault her, fleeing the area when she screamed. “The suspect is described as a Hispanic male between 25-35 years old, about 5’6”, with short hair,” police said. “The suspect was last seen fleeing the area on foot.”The department’s sexual assault unit is investigating and anyone with information is being asked to contact them at 617-343-4400.
