37-year-old man dies after being struck by a vehicle in Dartmouth last week

A 37-year-old Fall River man died at Rhode Island Hospital Sunday after he was struck by a vehicle in Dartmouth last week.
Ryan Silvia was found unresponsive by first responders in the roadway near 671 State Road around 9:15 p.m. Thursday, the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office said in a news release. He was flown by medical helicopter to Rhode Island Hospital and was said to be in critical condition Friday morning.
The driver of the vehicle, a white BMW 323i, stayed on scene, authorities said.
The investigation is continuing.
