Grace Adorno, missing 8-year-old Brockton girl, found safe
Early Tuesday afternoon, authorities safely located the 8-year-old Brockton girl who had been missing since Monday night.Grace Adorno was found unharmed, according to state police. She had left her home after arguing with her mother.

In an update later Tuesday afternoon, Brockton police said they got a phone call from a friend of one of Grace’s parents around 12:06 p.m. Tuesday and were told the girl was outside her door at 25 Porter St.
“The woman explained to the police that Grace told her she slept under the porch overnight,” police wrote on Facebook.

Grace, who has found “safe and unharmed,” was taken to a local hospital for an evaluation, according to police.
“We want to thank our partner agencies, including the Massachusetts State Police, FBI, our K-9 units, along with several K-9’s from the Plymouth County Area, all of our detectives and patrol officers, school officials, the Brockton Emergency Management Agency (BEMA) and the public for assisting in the search,” police said.
