Cyclist fatally struck by vehicle in Boston
Police are investigating the death of a cyclist who was fatally struck Wednesday morning at a Boston intersection.
Boston police Officer Stephen McNulty, a department spokesman, said the crash occurred around 9:10 a.m. in the area of Massachusetts and Harrison avenues, and that the driver remained at the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation, and no charges had been brought as of late Wednesday morning.
Investigators had placed a tarp over the victim’s body next to the bicycle, which was lying on the ground near a yellow evidence marker. The scene was also sealed off with police tape as officers continued their probe.
