2 hit while getting into car in Roslindale; 1 seriously injured

Boston police said a total of four people were taken to the hospital following the incident at 3961 Washington St.

A car struck two people Thursday night in Roslindale, leaving one of them suffering from life-threatening injuries, Boston police said.The call came in around 9:14 p.m., officers said, for a crash at 3961 Washington St., where a car reportedly struck the pair as they were getting into their vehicle, then hit another car before colliding into a fire hydrant.All four people involved in the crash were transported to a local hospital — the other three with nonlife-threatening injuries.Boston police are actively investigating the incident.
