Police said the two-vehicle crash happened around 10:11 a.m. near Thomas B. Landers and Research roads. After being extricated from the pickup truck, the driver — a 58-year-old Plymouth man — was taken to Falmouth Hospital to be treated for nonlife-threatening injuries.

Police cited the pickup truck driver for failing to yield the right of way after an investigation reportedly found he didn’t yield and was then struck by the cement truck.

The crash aftermath left the road closed for about an hour, police said, as both vehicles had to be towed.

There were no other reported injuries.
