Missing 36-year-old Nashua woman disappeared while taking out trash, family says

"She was supposed to bring trash out then come (back) in. She never did."

April Bailey, 36, of Nashua, was last seen on Jan. 15, officials said.

Detectives are continuing to search for a 36-year-old Nashua woman who was reported missing last week after her family says she disappeared while taking out the trash.

Authorities are calling on the public for help in finding April Bailey, who was last seen on Jan. 15, Nashua police said in a statement.

“We are asking for any help,” reads a post on a Facebook fundraiser to assist search efforts, created by Bailey’s sister. “My sister, April, has gone missing. Last place she was seen was on Lynn Street, Nashua, N.H.

According to police, Bailey was reported missing Jan. 20 and family and friends have not been able to contact her since her disappearance. She is described as 5 foot 3 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with dark hair and blue eyes, officials said.

She was last seen wearing a black jacket, pajama pants, and slippers, police said.

Anyone who knows Bailey’s whereabouts or has information about the case is asked to call Nashua police at 603-594-3500, authorities said. Anonymous tips can be made by calling the Nashua Crime Line at 603-589-1665.
