Car crashes into New Hampshire Applebee’s restaurant
The driver suffered life-threatening injuries.
DERRY, N.H. (AP) — A driver suffered life-threatening injuries after crashing into an Applebee’s restaurant in New Hampshire, authorities said Wednesday.
The Derry Fire Department was called to the restaurant around 6 a.m. for the report of a car striking the building. The driver was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated, fire officials said. The driver was flown by helicopter to a Boston hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Applebee’s had moderate damage, the fire department said. The vehicle did not breach the structure, officials said. The crash is under investigation.
