Employees at a Vermont hospital report mysterious odor, again
Surgeries planned for next week have been rescheduled.
COLCHESTER, Vt. (AP) — Workers at a Vermont hospital have once again reported a mysterious odor, a month after more than a dozen got sick on the job.
WCAX-TV reports that seven employees at UVM Medical Center’s Fanny Allen hospital in Colchester were evaluated this week for symptoms similar to those experienced by 17 workers in mid-October.
Officials say they’ve taken precautions, and that air quality in the building has tested safe. Surgeries planned for next week have been rescheduled.
