Man injured in rollover crash charged with second OUI, texting while driving
Police said he was the only one in the truck at the time of the crash.
A man is facing multiple charges — including his second OUI and a texting while driving citation — after a rollover crash Saturday night in Raynham, police said.
First responders determined that 42-year-old Everado Ramos’s black Ford F-150 hit a utility pole around 8:40 p.m. near 1136 Locust St. and rolled over. Police said Ramos, who was the only one in the truck, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
After an initial investigation, Ramos was cited for negligent operation, texting while driving, and a marked lanes violation.
Police also later charged him with his second liquor-related OUI and speeding.
Ramos will be issued a summons to Taunton District Court, according to a release.
