Rhode Island woman killed in 2-car collision
The incident remains under investigation and no charges have been filed.
SWANSEA, Mass. (AP) — A Rhode Island woman has died following a two-vehicle collision in Massachusetts.
WJAR-TV reports that 81-year-old Claudette Desilets was pronounced dead at Rhode Island Hospital after her 1999 Toyota Carolla collided with a dump truck Friday at the intersection of U.S. Route 6 and Maple Avenue in Swansea.
Desilets was a resident of Tiverton, R.I.
Traffic was diverted for two hours following the crash, which occurred around 11 a.m. Friday.
The incident remains under investigation and no charges have been filed.
