Truck ‘Storrowed’ striking overpass Saturday morning

An over-height truck struck an overpass on Storrow Drive Saturday morning causing equipment to fall off striking several cars with debris, police said. Storrow Drive inbound at North Harvard Street is closed and traffic is being diverted. No injuries were reported, Massachusetts State Police said in a tweet. Storrow Drive has notoriously low overpasses, and the “Storrowed” phenomenon is common, especially around the busy Sept. 1 college move-in and apartment turnover period.
