Million-dollar Dartmouth vacation home destroyed in massive fire
Public records indicate the home at 70 Naushon Ave. was worth $1.25 million.
A massive fire destroyed a million-dollar home in Dartmouth on Thursday, according to officials.
The estate was a vacation home on Buzzards Bay that was owned by the same Boston-based family for generations, WCVB reported. No one was in the home at the time of the fire, which was called in around 4:30 p.m.
Public records indicate the home at 70 Naushon Ave. was worth $1.25 million. Photos and videos from the scene show flames ravaging the waterfront property as smoke billows from it.

Two other homes in the area were affected by the blaze, officials said. A Facebook post from Dartmouth Fire District 1 said steady winds made fighting the fire challenging.
