49-year-old woman found dead from gunshot wound in Easton home, authorities say
Officials are investigating the incident as a suspicious death, prosecutors said.
An investigation is underway after a 49-year-old woman was found dead from a gunshot wound in an Easton home Wednesday evening.
Easton police responded around 6:22 p.m. to 234 Washington St. and found the woman dead on arrival, according to a statement from the Bristol County District Attorney’s office.
Authorities identified her Thursday morning as Tamra Davidson, of Plymouth.
Officials said Davidson was “a victim of an apparent gunshot wound.”
“The incident is being investigated as a suspicious death at this time,” the statement says.
Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s office, Easton police, and prosecutors are all investigating the incident, officials said.
