A 58-year-old man died after he was struck by an SUV while riding a bicycle in Ipswich, police said.Police were called to Topsfield Road at the Congress Street intersection around 6 p.m. Tuesday night. The bicyclist was taken to Beverly Hospital where he later died of the injuries he sustained, according to authorities.The driver — a 21-year-old woman who was operating a Jeep Compass — stayed at the scene and worked with police, officials said.The man’s identity has not been publicly released. No charges or citations had been filed as of 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, and the incident is under investigation with the help of state police, according to authorities.
