Police seek clues after Northeastern student found injured, unconscious near Ashmont station

“She was unconscious for three days after the accident took place and she doesn’t remember anything."

A Northeastern student was found injured in Dorchester on the evening of Oct. 11, and Boston police are continuing to investigate what happened.The call went in to police around 7:52 p.m. near 3 Monsignor Lydon Way, according to Officer Kim Tavares, a spokeswoman for the department. The patient, identified as Nguyen Do by WCVB and WBZ, was taken to a nearby hospital.“We don’t know if it was a hit and run, but it looks like it might have been,” Tavares said.Nguyen Do is originally from Vietnam and studying computer science, WCVB reported. She spent over two weeks in the intensive-care unit, WBZ said.“She was unconscious for three days after the accident took place and she doesn’t remember anything,” Julita Bailey-Vasco, a friend, told WBZ. “She has ear damage. A broken bone in one of her ears. Her pelvis is broken. She got a lung infection.”
