They’re creepy and they’re kooky: See the crazy costumed runners at the Salem Devils Chase

It was horns and pitchforks all the way down at Witch City's 11th annual costumed road race.

But that comes with the territory at the Devils Chase in Salem, which held its 11th annual road race on Saturday, Oct. 26. More than 750 runners came out for the 6.66-mile main event (motto: “Run Like Hell”) and its shorter partner, the 3.33-mile Crazy Clown Run (motto: “Run Like Crazy”). And most of them were decked out in their best devil and clown finery, with plenty of ghouls, goblins, superheroes and crazy characters thrown into the mix.
