Map: Where power outages are still being reported in Massachusetts
More than 60,000 customers were still without electricity on Friday morning.
Efforts to cleanup and restore power across Massachusetts are still underway Friday, after a powerful storm swept across the state and knocked out electricity for thousands. The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency said Friday that the state Emergency Operations Center remains partially activated to monitor the impacts from the storm that occurred overnight Wednesday into Thursday. As of Friday morning, more than 60,000 customers in the Bay State were still experiencing power outages.
