Man struck, killed by commuter rail train in Chelsea Tuesday night
Foul play isn't suspected.
A man thought to be in his 50s was hit and killed by a Rockport Line inbound commuter rail train in Chelsea late Tuesday night, according to MBTA Transit Police.Police were called to the area near Everett Avenue and Maple Street around 11:30 p.m. The man, who has not been publicly identified, was pronounced dead, police said.Authorities say the man was trespassing on the tracks when he was struck. They don’t suspect foul play; the investigation continues.
