State police investigate crash that seriously injured motor scooter operator
A 43-year-old Quincy man on a motor scooter reportedly struck the back of a 26-year-old Dorchester woman’s car.
State police are investigating a Monday crash between a car and a motor scooter that left the scooter’s driver seriously injured.
The crash happened around 1:20 p.m. on Morrissey Boulevard, according to a release. A 43-year-old Quincy man on a motor scooter reportedly struck the back of a 26-year-old Dorchester woman’s car.
The car, a 2016 Chevrolet Spark, was traveling west into a parking lot when it was hit. The scooter was traveling south.
The woman in the car was not hurt, but the man operating the scooter was transported to Boston Medical Center with serious injuries, according to police.
The crash is under investigation. No charges had been filed as of Monday afternoon.
