80-year-old Revere woman hit by car, suffers ‘potentially seriously injuries’

A driver struck an 80-year-old woman Wednesday morning on Revere Beach Boulevard, state police said, leaving her with “potentially serious injuries.”
The incident happened around 6 a.m. when the Revere woman was walking on the roadway, according to a release.
The driver — 61-year-old Jaaziel Goncalves of Revere — was arrested for unlicensed operation and a crosswalk violation, police said. The woman was taken to an area hospital.
Goncalves was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Chelsea District Court.
