Man, approximately 26, dies after being struck by commuter rail train Friday morning in Woburn
The man has not been publicly identified.
An approximately 26-year-old man died after being struck by an MBTA commuter rail train early Friday morning in Woburn, according to transit police superintendent Richard Sullivan.
The man, who has not been identified publicly, was trespassing on the tracks around 1 a.m. when he was hit, Sullivan said in an email. He later died “as a result of injuries sustained.”
The incident happened at Woburn’s Mishawum Station, which on the Lowell Line. The death is under investigation.
