Body pulled from Lake Winnipesaukee identified as 34-year-old N.H. man
Police say foul play is not suspected in his death.
The body found Sunday morning in New Hampshire’s Lake Winnipesaukee has been identified as 34-year-old Benjamin Whitehill.
State police said Whitehill went to the lake’s Braun Bay with his friends on Saturday, but his friends couldn’t find him when they were leaving that evening. They assumed he left with another boater, a release said.
By the time Whitehill’s friends found his untouched belongings Sunday morning, a paddle boarder had already reported spotting a body in the lake.
He was from Peterborough, New Hampshire.
