Body of 24-year-old Mass. man recovered from waters off Hawaii

The body of a 24-year-old Massachusetts man was found Monday off the coast of Hawaii after he went missing over the weekend.
A Coast Guard spokesperson said the man’s next-of-kin have been notified, but his name has not yet been publicly released.
The man was reported missing Saturday by a bystander on Green Sand Beach on the Big Island who told authorities they last saw him swimming near the shoreline.
He was least seen wearing black board shorts, and he left his belongings on the shore.
Coast Guard planes and helicopters searched for the man until the Hawaii County Fire Department recovered his body Monday afternoon, the spokesperson said.
