The attack came after a dispute with another man, officials said.
A man suffered serious injuries when he was stabbed in an alley next to City Hall Plaza early Friday morning, according to police.
The man was stabbed around 5:16 a.m. near the New England Center and Home for Veterans, Boston Police Officer Stephen McNulty, a department spokesman, told Boston.com.
He was later brought to a hospital. No arrests had been made as of 9:45 a.m.
