Eugene Parrish intended to hit a specific person, police say.
Boston police have identified a man who allegedly shot at a Roxbury storefront in April as Eugene Parrish, 22, of Boston. Parrish shot a bullet into the window, intending to hit a specific person, police say.
Officers responded to the area of 1400 Tremont St. at about 1:45 p.m. on April 12 after “a stray bullet found its way through a store front window,” according to a release. Officers saw a damaged window and a shell casing on the sidewalk.
The intended target escaped uninjured, police say.
Parrish was located in Charlestown and placed under arrest Wednesday. He is charged with armed assault with intent to murder and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, among other charges.
