23-year-old dies in Everett Turnpike crash
The crash occurred at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
MERRIMACK, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire state police say a driver died after his car struck another one on the Everett Turnpike, went off of the road and crashed into trees.
Police said the driver was traveling south in the left lane at a high rate of speed at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and attempted to move into the right lane. But he lost control of his car and struck the other car in the rear bumper before his car went down an embankment.

The 23-year-old driver from Merrimack suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
The other driver, a 41-year-old man from Lowell, Massachusetts, wasn’t hurt.
Their names weren’t released.
