Update: Victim identified in fatal Dorchester shooting
Carl Brown, 43, was from Dorchester.
Boston police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting Tuesday night as Carl Brown, 43, of Dorchester. Brown was shot near 95 Millet St. in Dorchester and transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Shakeem McNeill, 28, of Brockton, was arrested Wednesday in connection to the shooting and arraigned on a murder charge in Dorchester District Court, police say.
He was ordered to be held without bail, according to the Suffolk District Attorney’s office.
