N.H. police: Woman dies after falling onto highway, getting struck by vehicle
Juliette Koss, of Nashua, was 68 years old.
NASHUA, N.H. (AP) — Police say a woman on a New Hampshire highway died after she fell or collapsed, and then was struck by a vehicle that didn’t stop.
Police said they learned about the woman, a pedestrian, on the southbound Everett Turnpike near the Exit 4 off-ramp in Nashua shortly after 7 p.m. Wednesday. She had either fallen or collapsed. Within minutes of that call, it was reported that she was struck. First responders determined that she was dead.

The woman was identified as 68-year-old Juliette Koss, of Nashua. Witnesses described the vehicle as a tan mid-to-full-size SUV-type vehicle. The vehicle should have damage to the front end and bumper area.
Three lanes of the turnpike were closed for about four hours.
