Boston police arrest, charge 2 women with human trafficking
Police said the alleged crimes took place in Boston’s Chinatown neighborhood.
Two women were arrested by Boston police on Monday afternoon in connection with alleged human trafficking crimes in the city’s Chinatown neighborhood. Boston police said Zhou Feng, 57, of Medford, and Mei Zhang, 44, of Boston, were arrested around 12:20 p.m. Police said the arrests followed a “coordinated investigative effort” between department detectives and the FBI’s Human Trafficking Units. Both women are charged with human trafficking and are expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on Tuesday.
