2 Mass. men stabbed at carnival in N.H. mall parking lot
Police are investigating the incident.
A stabbing at the Mall at Rockingham Park’s spring carnival grounds sent two Massachusetts men to the hospital early Friday, Salem, New Hampshire, police say.
Officers responded to the carnival — set up in the corner parking lot of the mall — for a report of a stabbing shortly before 3 a.m. and found “10 people who appeared to have been involved in a violent altercation,” according to a release.
The two Massachusetts men, ages 30 and 39, sustained nonlife-threatening stabbing injuries, police said. The 39-year-old also sustained injuries believed to have been inflicted by a baseball bat. Both men were taken to nearby hospitals.
Officers found one knife at the scene, according to the release. No charges have been filed.
