A wild turkey smashed through a fifth-floor window and then wreaked ‘havoc’ in a Maynard office

Maynard police are warning residents that wild turkeys can be “aggressive and unpredictable” after one smashed through two fifth-floor windows in an office building Wednesday morning.The turkey was “wreaking havoc” after smashing into the building through one of the windows, police were told when they were called to the scene at Stratus Technologies Inc. at Mill and Main Place.By the time officers arrived, the turkey had smashed through a second window to get out of the building, according to officials, and “unfortunately he did not survive.”
