Video: Horse rescued from icy pond in Warren
Several bystanders pitched in.
Warren police officers, firefighters, highway department personnel, and several bystanders all teamed up Tuesday to rescue a horse that fell through ice into a pond on Brimfield Road.
“The horse was quickly removed from the ice and back on its feet,” officers said on Facebook.
Officers posted a video of the rescue, where nine individuals are seen heaving the horse out of the pond and preparing to wrap it in blankets.
