2 men arrested in Milton for trafficking cocaine, police say

Bryan Villar and Johan Figueroa-Rivera were stopped for motor vehicle violations when troopers allegedly found cocaine in their car.

Twenty-five grams of cocaine was found in a car stopped for motor vehicle violations in Milton on Monday night, police say. Bryan Villar, 20, of Roslindale, and Johan Figueroa-Rivera, 31, of Boston, were stopped for speeding and violating marked lanes at about 8:30 p.m. while Villar was driving a Toyota Camry on Blue Hills Parkway, according to a Massachusetts State Police release. Troopers searching the vehicle found 19 clear plastic bags containing 25 grams of a powdery, white substance “consistent with cocaine,” police said.

Villar and Figueroa-Rivera were booked into the Milton Barracks for trafficking cocaine, among other charges, according to the release.

Villar was placed under arrest with his bail set at $100,000.

Bail was denied for Figueroa-Rivera, who was arrested on an active default warrant.
