A person was stabbed in the Public Garden during an armed robbery on New Year’s Eve. Now police are looking to ID this suspect.
The victim suffered a nonlife-threatening stab wound, police said.
Boston police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man wanted in connection to a stabbing and armed robbery on New Year’s Eve. Victims told police that night they were approached by three men demanding their money while walking through the Public Garden at about 10 p.m., according to police. The men stabbed one of the victims before they “handed over their property,” police said.The individual who had been stabbed was then forced to withdraw an undisclosed amount of money from a nearby ATM, according to police, after which the suspects fled on foot and the victim was treated at a local hospital.
