1 dead after fire at Dudley home
"The person who died is believed to have been intimately involved with the start of the fires."
One person is dead following an early morning fire at a Dudley property that involved a home, shed, and vehicle, officials said.
The fire occurred at 48 Dudley-Oxford Road, according to the state Department of Fire Services.
“The person who died is believed to have been intimately involved with the start of the fires,” department spokeswoman Jennifer Mieth said in an email. “The fire is being investigated by the Dudley Fire and Police Departments and State Police assigned to the Office of the State Fire Marshal and to the Worcester District Attorney’s Office.”
