Now, this is an election cycle that won’t polarize the country.

Bluebikes and Lime are offering free rides to Massachusetts residents for Election Day on Tuesday, whether you’re a voter or not. Though, ideally, officials are hoping you’ll use the complimentary access for a trip to the polls.

“This initiative aligns perfectly with our mission to help Massachusetts residents lead healthier lives while also supporting civic engagement, and it provides a unique option for voters to make sure their voices are heard on Election Day,” Kathy Klingler, the chief marketing officer of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, the title sponsor of the publicly run bike-share system, said in a recent press release.

To unlock the free trip(s), Bluebikes users can enter the code “BIKETOVOTE” on the Bluebikes mobile app anytime Tuesday. Those who don’t have the mobile app on their phone can fill out their name and email address on the Bluebikes website and get a gift code to redeem their “Adventure Pass” at any of the expanding system‘s station kiosks across Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, and Somerville.

Bluebikes also released a map of the system’s more than 250 docking stations, as well as all the polling locations, in the four communities. Massachusetts voters can find more detailed information about their polling place on the state’s website.

The free Bluebikes pass is good for unlimited two-hour trips for a 24-hour period. Polling locations open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Massachusetts; time it right and you might even be able to use the free Bluebikes access for your Wednesday morning commute.

Usage fees will still apply for any single ride longer than two hours.

But the free rides aren’t just limited to voters within Bluebikes territory.

Lime, the private mobility company that has dockless bikes in 16 Boston suburbs (Arlington, Bedford, Belmont, Chelsea, Everett, Malden, Medford, Melrose, Milton, Needham, Newton, Quincy, Revere, Waltham, Watertown, and Winthrop), is offering free rides of up to 30 minutes nationwide Tuesday.

Users can unlock the complimentary access to Lime’s bright green bikes and e-bikes by entering the code “LIME2VOTE18” on the company’s mobile app on Tuesday.

“Transportation to the polls is often a challenge for many Americans on Election Day, so we’re doing our part to help,” Brad Bao, the co-founder of Lime, said in a statement.
