These NICU babies are all dressed up for Halloween
"This provides some fun and a sense of normalcy for the families during their hospital stay."
Some of the smallest newborns at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth are all decked out for Halloween.
Registered nurses Mallory Decas and Emily Schiarizzi designed and sewed 10 of the miniature costumes for the babies, who currently reside in the Level II Special Care Nursery, according to a press release from the hospital. The other outfits were collected from Build a Bear Workshop.

“Families who have an infant in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) can sometimes miss the joys of celebrations and holidays at home,” Decas said in the release. “This provides some fun and a sense of normalcy for the families during their hospital stay.”
