Hamilton cast members and the mayor will be at a special early voting event in Boston this weekend
The state's early voting period started Monday and stretches into Nov. 2.
The Bolling Building in Roxbury will be the “Room Where It Happens” this coming Saturday as Boston Mayor Marty Walsh and Hamilton cast members are teaming up to host a special early voting event — offering participants the opportunity to meet him and the cast.
Company members of the musical, which is centered on the life of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, will be joining Walsh to promote early voting from 11 a.m. to noon on Oct. 27, according to a tweet from the city.

Throughout the early voting period, which started Monday and stretches into Nov. 2, registered Boston residents can cast their ballot at any polling location that has the option available.
In Boston, City Hall is the main early voting polling location, and is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, with hours extended to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Other locations across the city will be open on the weekend, and the city is also making “pop-up” polling locations available from noon to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
