A 31-year-old Gloucester man died after being hit by a car in Rowley
The man was brought by helicopter to Massachusetts General Hospital and pronounced dead, police said.
A 31-year-old Gloucester man died after he was hit by a vehicle while walking on Haverhill Street in Rowley on Monday night, police said Tuesday.Rowley Police and Fire responded to the scene at 11 p.m., and the man, who sustained life-threatening injuries, was taken away by a medical helicopter to Massachusetts General Hospital. He was later pronounced dead, police said.The man was struck by a 2013 Subaru Impreza driven by a 57-year-old woman from Georgetown, according to police.
Rowley Police, the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, and the Essex District Attorney’s Office are investigating the crash.
