2-year-old dies after fall from fourth-floor window in Fitchburg
The toddler was brought to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead, officials said.
A 2-year-old died after falling from a fourth-floor window in Fitchburg Thursday afternoon.Emergency responders were called to the Willow Loft Apartments on Willow Street around 4 p.m., 7News reported.

The toddler was flown to a hospital and pronounced dead, according to the Worcester County District Attorney’s office.
“It’s a tragedy,” Fitchburg Police Chief Ernest Martineau told 7News. “It just breaks everybody’s heart when children are involved. These are some of the toughest calls we face. These are the calls we don’t want to go to. Our thoughts are with the family.”
