N.H. Police: Driver leads officers on chase, rams cruiser
SEABROOK, N.H. (AP) — Police say a man rammed a cruiser as he led police on a chase.
New Hampshire state police say that 27-year-old Dustin Claar faces felony reckless conduct charges. Police are accusing Claar of driving drunk.
Police say Claar refused to pull over for a Seabrook police officer early Saturday morning. Police say Claar hit a mailbox, left the scene and later hit a state trooper’s cruiser when Claar’s Dodge Ram drove out of a driveway.
Police pursued Claar as he traveled to Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Police say Claar lost control of the vehicle and crashed on Route 107 in Seabrook. A police dog found Claar hiding in a barn.
It wasn’t clear whether Claar has an attorney. The Rockingham County Jail didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
