The pizza shop owner said the man had been ordering food for months on a regular basis, but in the past week or so, the quantity of food ordered increased, and then the man would call and hang up multiple times.
The owner, Jackson Johnson, became concerned, and asked drivers to keep a close watch on the matter.
Police said the scene inside the house was one of the worst hoarding situations they had seen. They said they had to cut a hole in the house to get the man out.
