Maine police responded to a reported overdose at a home and discovered several ‘one-pot style’ meth labs inside
Ten people were arrested in the drug bust.
The report of a drug overdose at a home in Maine Thursday night led police to the discovery of multiple “one-pot” methamphetamine labs. Maine State Police said troopers went to investigate the reported overdose at a home on Killick Pond Road in Hollis around 11 p.m. “Upon arrival, it was discovered that there was more to the investigation as there was several active one-pot style methamphetamine labs inside the residence,” police said in a statement. The scene was secured by police overnight, and a search warrant was executed early Friday morning. “At the conclusion of the operation 8 active one pot methamphetamine labs and approximately 25 used labs were located at the residence,” police said. “In addition, chemicals to manufacture and finished meth were discovered on scene.”Authorities said 10 people were arrested, three of whom were charged with operation of a methamphetamine laboratory. The rest were charged with criminal conspiracy, according to police.
