A woman says her flip-flop got stuck in the pedals. And then this happened.

Shoppers at a Shaw’s in Cohasset witnessed quite the scene Monday evening, after a Scituate woman’s flip-flop got stuck in her SUV’s pedals, causing her to lose control of the vehicle and drive up onto two other cars, she told police.

The 67-year-old woman was driving a 2016 Honda Pilot when the incident occurred around 5:30 p.m., according to police. No injuries were reported, but several cars were damaged and towed, police said.
