2 people indicted in connection with crash that killed Needham High School students Talia Newfield and Adrienne Garrido
The two teens were walking near the high school in February when they were struck and killed.
Authorities say a man and a woman are facing charges in connection to a February crash that left two teenage pedestrians dead in Needham.

The Norfolk District Attorney’s office announced Tuesday that Robert Berry, 65, of Needham, was indicted by a grand jury on a charge of negligent motor vehicle homicide and two counts of aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Dania Antoine-Guiteau, 52, of Wellesley, was indicted for manslaughter and negligent motor vehicle homicide.
Needham High School students Talia Newfield, 16, and Adrienne Garrido, 17, were struck on Feb. 10 as they walked near the school. Police arrived at the scene to find the best friends with “significant injuries.”
Newfield was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Needham where she was pronounced dead. Garrido was eventually taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston where she died a day later from her injuries.
Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey said at the time that investigators were “looking at more than one driver” in connection to the collision that left the best friends dead.
The DA’s office said Tuesday that an arraignment date for the case has not yet been set. Attorneys for Berry and Antoine-Guiteau could not immediately be reached for comment.
