Police identify 32-year-old woman who apparently drowned in New Hampshire
The 32-year-old woman who apparently drowned in the Piscataquog River in New Hampshire last week has been identified as Anna Gdanian of Manchester, N.H., authorities said on Sunday.
Gdanian was kayaking with three friends just before 9 p.m. on Thursday when her vessel capsized and she disappeared in the water. Her friends tried to find her to no avail, and a search by local fire departments and a dive team that night turned up nothing, New Hampshire State Police said in a statement.
New Hampshire Fish and Game’s dive team recovered Gdanian’s body the following morning in 14 feet of water.
