Joshua Glynn, 32, of Plymouth, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim of a fatal Tuesday afternoon crash on the Mass. Pike in Grafton has been identified as Joshua Glynn, 32, of Plymouth, by Massachusetts State Police, according to a press release from the department.
A preliminary investigation, led by Trooper Thomas Wilson, indicated that Glynn was driving his Ford Fusion westbound on the turnpike when — for unknown reasons — he entered the breakdown lane shortly after 2 p.m. and crashed into the back of a disabled tractor-trailer parked in the lane, according to the release.
Glynn was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The operator of the truck, a 45-year-old Miami man, was not harmed in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
