Man arrested and charged in fatal shooting of Dwayne Thomas
Thomas was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on Hartford Street in Dorchester during the early morning hours of April 28 and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man authorities believe fatally shot a 34-year-old Boston father of two at the end of April is expected to be arraigned Monday in Roxbury Municipal Court.

Boston police said Derrell Russell, 29, of Plymouth, was arrested on Friday and charged with the murder of Dwayne Thomas.
“To the family and friends of Dwayne Thomas, it is my sincere, humble hope that news of today’s arrest brings with it some small measure of comfort and closure,” Police Commissioner William Evans said in a statement on Friday.
