Police: Man seriously injured in fall from Maine pub’s deck
ROCKLAND, Maine (AP) — Police in Maine say a man was seriously injured in a fall from the deck of a pub over the weekend.
The Kennebec Journal reports the injury happened 12:34 a.m. Sunday at the Time Out Pub in Rockland. Police say the 30-year-old Old Town man fell from the pub’s 17-foot-high deck and hit his head.

The victim was taken to Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport and later transferred to Maine Medical Center in Portland. The man was listed in critical condition Sunday.
Investigators say they have received conflicting accounts about what led to the fall.
This is the second time a patron has fallen off the deck at the pub. Twenty-five-year-old Mark Boynton, of Rockland, was killed when he fell off the deck in June 2015.
